Karen Swinden is managing director of The Hot Hive. Karen has over 25 years’ experience of working in the publishing industry and nearly 20 years’ experience of running SMEs specialising in magazine and book publishing.
Cara Carey
Cara is book production manager at the HotHive. responsible for all aspects of project management, design, artwork, copywriting, print production, and marketing. Cara is on maternity leave until April 2010.
Sara Drinkwater
Sara is an editor, proof reader and project manager at The HotHive. Sara is also editor of HotHive Textiles, The Hot Hive’s comprehensive resource website delivering information about the textile and craft website.

Ceri Gautama
Ceri is the publicity and marketing executive at The HotHive. She works closely with The HotHive's authors to devise and manage comprehensive marketing and PR campaigns for our titles.
Emma Thompson
Emma is the HotHive's office and finance manager, keeping all aspects of the office running smoothly on a day to day basis.
Charlotte McSwiney
Charlotte is our in-house artworker. She is responsible for assisting with the design of our book covers and layouts, as well as designing all of our marketing and promotional material.
Andrew Middleton
Andrew is The HotHive's Sales Representative. He presents our book catalogue to all independent and chain bookstores in addition to finding other sales outlets for our titles.
