June's Writing Tip
Start with the fun bit!
Many people settle down to their writing project thinking 'Start at the very beginning, it's a very good place to start'. But is it such a good place really? The beginning is certainly one of the most important bits of the book, given that with a weak introduction you could lose your reader before they've really got into your book.
So where is a good place to start? Why not give yourself a break and start with the easy bit? Begin with the bit you could do in your sleep. Or the bit you just can't wait to get your teeth into - the bit that really gets you motivated and full of enthusiasm. Get into the swing of your writing and enjoy it.
The bits that aren't so easy will then flow so much better when you've raised your confidence levels from the start!
