Call for authors
If you have written a non-fiction book, why not submit a proposal to us? Email your proposal to Sue at sue@w4wdp.com
Working title: We love books that 'say on the tin' what they do!
Estimated length: Estimate the number of words in your manuscript (use the word count tool in Word). Or if you haven't written it yet, give us an idea of how many pages you think your book will run to.
Estimated date of completion: When would you ideally like to see your book published?
Synopsis: A brief description of the subject and content of your book.
Readers: Who is the book for? What will your book do for its readers and how?
You: What is your background and what qualifies you to write this book? What do you think publishing a book will do for you?
USP: How does your book differ to others in your area of expertise?
Table of contents: Please send a list of the chapter headings for your book. If it's not written send us a rough outline.
Sample chapter: We would like to see a sample chapter to get an idea of your writing style.
Direct marketing opportunities: How do you see yourself being able to sell copies of your book? How many copies can you sell to your network and your customers? Please give us as much detail as you can of your realistic potential to sell the book directly.
PR and online opportunities: Please give us an outline of how you expect to promote the book using both online and offline media. Send us any examples of press coverage you have already had. Please also provide details of your website and any experience you have of promoting your business - products or services - online. We'd also love to know if you are active in any online social networks such as LinkedIn, Ecademy or Twitter. How would you use these to promote your book?
Other publishers: Have you presented this manuscript/book idea to anyone else? What feedback have you had from them?
Testimonials and endorsements: Who do you know who might back you by writing a foreword for your book or endorsing it in some way? (The higher the profile the better!)
(The HotHive cannot absolutely guarantee to respond to proposals or requests for feedback but we promise to do our best!)
