Be Seen as The Expert – and Publish a Book

Sue Richardson is a professional speaker with over 15 years publishing experience, as a freelance copy editor, proofreader, journalist and director of the independent publishing company Word4Word. She is passionate about books and believes that everyone who feels they have a book inside them should have the opportunity to make their dream come true and become a published author.

Many professionals and people with expertise in their field have knowledge and information they could pass on to others, and some may even have considered publishing a book. For a lot of people that is as far as it gets, because they lack the knowledge and confidence to go further. Sue’s tailor-made talks give them the information they need to press on.

The areas that she covers include:

  • what publishing could do for you – raise your profile in your field, pass on your expertise to others, and create a passive income
  • how do you go about publishing – an overview of both the traditional publishing route and the self-publishing route, including pros and cons of each
  • making sure your book creates the right impression – give your book the professional touch
  • what is a book these days anyway – booklets, ebooks and audio CDs

Fees are negotiated on a client by client basis depending on the length of time you wish Sue to speak, distance travelled etc. Sue can also run a one-day workshop for your members to attend, price on request.
